Vuo Restaurant – The Taste of Lapland, Surrounded by River
Vuo is the restaurant of Aino Private Island, the warm heart of the island. Inspired by traditional Lappish architecture and centred around an open fire, it offers a dining experience where authentic flavours, Arctic nature, and the peaceful atmosphere of the island come together. Vuo celebrates local ingredients, open-fire cooking, and modern interpretations of Lappish soul food.
From 1 November, Vuo Restaurant will also welcome local residents and visitors from outside the hotel on selected evenings.
Our seasonal menus celebrate local ingredients, open-fire cooking, and modern interpretations of Lappish soul food. Carefully sourced ingredients reflect the forests, rivers, and landscapes of Finnish Lapland, while our curated wine selection complements each dish. Surrounded by the flowing Kemijoki River, Vuo invites guests to slow down, gather around the fire, and enjoy the distinctive atmosphere of Aino Private Island.
