Library Pavilion
Quiet corners, rich with history—inviting you to linger, listen, and simply be.
Tucked beneath timber beams with views over the water, the Library Pavilion is a space for unhurried presence. Its robust yet intimate interior invites quiet reflection, meaningful conversation, or simply a moment alone with a well-earned drink. Over a century ago, pharmacist Aksel Castrén built the original summer pavilion as a gift for his wife, Aino—a place for her to rest, read, and be close to nature. Today, this cherished space has been gently transformed into a library, where guests can enjoy deep conversations, or stay to reflect and admire the slow currents of the river passing by.
